About Party at the Pickle

Partyatthepickle.com is a private website for family and friends invited to events at The Pickle, a private gathering space at a private residence.

By creating an account or using the website, you agree to these Terms & Conditions and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.

Using the website and your account

  • Give accurate information when you register, and keep it up to date.
  • Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for activity on your account, so let us know right away if you think someone else has used it.
  • Accounts are personal. Please do not share your login or create accounts for other people.
  • Your account may also work on our two related community websites, stlukes-clc.com and slushsoftball.com. Many of our members use more than one of the sites, so one username and password signs you in everywhere. Obviously not all members will want or need access to all three sites. Our Privacy Policy explains what is shared.
  • You can delete your account at any time from your Account page. This also deletes your linked accounts on the other two sites.

A private, invitation-based community

Party at the Pickle is not open to the public. Accounts are for invited family members and friends, and new accounts will need to be approved before they can be used. We may decline, suspend, or remove any account, for example if it was created without an invitation or if these terms are not followed.

Please keep what you see in the members-only area, including event details, the location of The Pickle, other members’ information, and photos, within the community.

Event invitations and RSVPs

Invitations and event details are for the people who are invited. Please RSVP honestly and update your RSVP if your plans change. Event dates, times, and details can change, and we will do our best to let you know when they do.

Events are private gatherings at a private residence. We may limit numbers or ask any guest to leave. You are responsible for your own conduct and safety. If you drink, please drink responsibly and never drink and drive.

Member photographs and content

When you upload photos or other content, you confirm that you have the right to share it and that the people in it are comfortable with it being shared with the community. You keep ownership of your content, and you give Party at the Pickle permission to display it in the members-only area of the website. Hosts may review uploads before they appear and may remove any content at any time.

Coming to an event means you may be photographed and that those photos may be posted in the members-only area. We actually highly encourage our members to take pictures and share those memories here on our site.

To have a photo of you or your children removed, email admin@partyatthepickle.com.

Appropriate use and prohibited conduct

Please be kind. When using the website, do not:

  • Post anything unlawful, hateful, harassing, or sexually explicit.
  • Post photos of people who have asked not to be photographed or posted.
  • Share members’ personal information, event details, or the location of The Pickle outside the community.
  • Try to get into accounts or areas of the website you are not allowed to use, or interfere with how the website works.
  • Use the website for advertising, selling, or spam.

Privacy

Our Privacy Policy explains what information we collect and how we use it, including how we handle mobile phone numbers and text messages. It is part of these terms.

Text message terms

Party at the Pickle offers optional text messages about our events. Members who separately opt in by checking the optional, unchecked text-message consent box, either when they register or on the Text messages tab of their account page:

  • Agree to receive event-related text messages from Party at the Pickle, such as event invitations, RSVP reminders, event reminders, event updates or changes, photo notifications, and other communications about Party at the Pickle events.
  • Understand that message frequency varies.
  • Understand that message and data rates may apply.
  • Can reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe, or untick the box on their account page. You may receive one final message confirming that you have been unsubscribed.
  • Can reply HELP for assistance, or email admin@partyatthepickle.com.
  • Are not required to consent to text messages in order to create an account or use the website.

Mobile carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages. If you change or give up your mobile number, please reply STOP from it first or let us know. Learn more on our Text Messages page.

Changes to the website or these terms

Party at the Pickle is a personal website provided as is. We do our best to keep it running and accurate, but we cannot promise it will always be available or error-free.

We may change, pause, or discontinue any part of the website or our text messages at any time. We may also update these terms. When we do, we will change the date at the top of this page, and continuing to use the website means you accept the updated terms.
